2023 Juneteenth Milly Sawyers Project

The image depicts a scene on stage with three individuals engaged in what appears to be a theatrical or musical performance. Two people in the foreground, wearing white shirts, black ties, and dark skirts, are holding red booklets, possibly scripts or music, and appear to be singing or speaking to each other. The person on the left has dark hair pulled back, while the person on the right has light hair tied in a bun. In the background, a third individual, partially obscured, is standing and also holding a red booklet, dressed similarly with suspenders. They are positioned against a dark backdrop with red curtains framing the stage, indicating an intimate performance setting. The lighting highlights the concentration and interaction between the performers, creating a focused and expressive atmosphere that suggests a serious or emotionally intense moment in the performance.
