Back in the 1960's, lots of kids, mostly high school students, would come in only to play the pinball machine after school. If they didn't buy something, they would be usually escorted out of the drug store.
It had a full service soda fountain and a couple of tables in the eating area
After Al's death, the pharmacist Thad Hall purchased the business and ran it for many years.
The building was sold & remodeled as Pappy's Grille.
It is still Pappy's Grille in 2015.
