It is owned and operated by 2 gentlemen of German descent.
Larry Matt and Andy Halamar opened the restaurant Aug. 1, 1989.
Both men come from German backgrounds.
The restaurant has extensive German decor.
Superb home cooked German and other cuisines are served buffet style on Friday evenings.
The Buffet is available only on Friday beginning at 5pm, by reservation only.
Beside the buffet there is also a dessert section filled with homemade desserts.
They serve sandwiches for lunch Monday-Friday from 11-2 PM.
The Cabbage Roll is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Ask them for a copy of the buffet schedule, their buffets change every month.
The building was once Gorman's Hy-Klas grocery store.
