Market Square in 1970 Before 1973 Urban Renewal Demolition. Photos (16). b/w. Photos documenting the appearance of the buildings in the historic block known as Market Square. Market Square occupied the full block bordered by Felix & Edmond, 2nd & 3rd Street. The buildings were demolished during Urban Renewal in 1973. Taken in November, 1970. These commercial buildings were mostly 3-story and constructed of brick.
