Context

Dear Folks: I just finished a letter to Warren awhile ago, and thought I'd drop you a line, which will probably reach you later than the Air Mail letter that I plan to write in a day or two. I plan to meet Warren in the Army-Navy Y.M.C.A. at Diego on Sunday morning. Certainly hope I don't have any detail on Sunday. Rec'd the Griffon News & Phi Theta Kappa Magazine yesterday. BOBERT Front of Postcard is a photograph of the Headquarters at Camp Callan.

Handwritten note home to parents back in St. Joseph after being called up to serve in the US Army during WWII. Pvt. Spalsbury, at the time of this letter, is at Camp Callen, California for Basic Training. Front of Postcard is a photograph of the Headquarters at Camp Callan.
