Scope and Content

The original copy of the decree of the Circuit Court of Buchanan County, Missouri, in the matter of the claim of the St. Joseph Water Company against the Board of Managers of the State Hospital No. 2

Context

Fred Hornkohl, Secretary of Board of Managers attached a preface to the documents certifying and affixing the seal of the State Hospital No. 2 that the aforementioned were indeed are copies of the decree. This was dated the 3rd of February, 1921. The decree was dated the 16th of March, 1918 of the Circuit Court of Buchanan County before the Honorable Thomas B. Allen, Division 1, between the State of Missouri at the relation of the St. Joseph Water Company, Plaintiff vs. the Board of Managers of State Hospital No. 2, Defendants. It was signed by Emmett J. Crouse, Clerk of the Circuit Court, certifying it to be a full, true and complete copy of decree. Also included is a 7 page copy of the appeal in the Supreme Court of Missouri. The Respondent being the St. Joseph Water Company, and the Appellants being the Board of Managers, St. Joseph Hospital No.2.
