A typed letter from Zerbst Pharmacal Company INC. to Fricke-Hahn Drug Co. dated Sept. 10,1927. It is on Zerbst letterhead and signed by E. A. Zerbst, President & Treasurer.Context
This is a letter in response to a notice the Fricke-Hahn Drug Co., St. Louis, MO. wrote on their statement. Having asked for a signed order, Mr. Zerbst replies " the goods were delivered to their store by the salesman on Feb. 13th, 1924." Mr. Zerbst feels that information is enough to warrant payment of the bill. He goes on to advise, if payment is not received in two or three days, legal action will be taken. Mr. Fricke responds in written green at the bottom of the letter that they have not received a statement showing the amount and who receipted for the mdse. They have no trace of the goods, nor invoice. He feels the salesman delivering the goods should have a receipt showing the goods were received.Lexicon
