Description
Alex Lozo Photographic Gallery of Art Photo of Woman c. 1880. Studio portrait of woman shown seated, head to hip view. She is facing to left of picture with her elbows on an upholstered bolster and hands under her chine. She is wearing bracelets on both wrists and rings. She is a mature woman, with curly hair pulled back and parted in the center. Her dark dress has ¾ length sleeves, with lace edges, and bows at elbow. It is topped with a high, white lace scarf under a v-neck front. A necklace of large links and medallion hangs in the front of her bodice. Unidentified. Sepia, 4¼" x 6½" on cardboard backing.
