Description

Alice Princess--An autobiography -- is a story of an African girl who was orphaned in Nyasaland, Africa and made her way to a mission in Malamulo and later successes. She was featured on the TV show hosted by Ralph Edwards, "This is Your Life." The introduction begins... no one is lost to the sight of God. Alice knew the road to enlightment lay always before her, though much of that road proved dark and treacherous. It was a road mired in tribal superstitions and heathen customs that only a girl with the will of Alice Princess could surmount. She little knew where or how far the road might lead, but that didn't keep her from searching. The future for Alice, her husband and family is back to Africa; perhaps as teachers. 167/Hardbound/Photographs
