Lewis created this folder which contains letters to Ramsey Crooks of American Fur Company. The letters come from LaPointe, Fond du Lac and River St. Peter in the Wisconsin/Lake Superior region.
The photocopies are very poor and in some cases almost unreadable. There is no source information for the original documents.
There appears to be 16 full or partial documents. Lewis has stapled some of the pages together which I labeled as one document. Other documents are a single page. Most of documents are from 1836. Some are unidentified as to date.
