Arrowhead Collection, Elsing Museum, Oral Roberts University, Photos (10), 1951. Photos of the artistic display of the arrowhead and other artifact collection by Willard Elsing of Joplin, Missouri, later donated and exhibited at ORU, Tulsa, Ok. Elsing had earlier displayed his collection himself at Elsing's Oak Crest Museum, Route 3, Box. 67, Oak Crest Museum., "Oral Roberts University’s Elsing Museum in Tulsa...This geological museum features the exquisite rock collection of Willard Elsing, whose lifelong fascination for mineral and rock art grew into a carefully curated collection after he opened a rock and mineral shop on Route 66 near Joplin in the 1920s where miners in the region brought him their rare finds. After more than 80 years of amassing his collection, Mr. Elsing decided to donate his treasures for research and education.
