Scope and Content

A 7 3/4" x 5" sketchbook of patient art with a white cover and a sticker reading "CARNET 40 FEUILLES CROQUIS FORT (Trait Lavis Gouache) CANSON". The words "ANCIENNES MANUFACTURES CANSON ET MONTGOLFIER A VIDALON - LES - ANNONAY" form a rectangular border around the other words and a crest on the sticker. On the inside cover, a second sticker reads "CARNET CROQUIS FABRICATION LES PAPIERS CANSON, No 1020, 40 feullies - 90 gr/m^2, Format: 125 x 195 m/m".
