Skeleton Discovered in Cliff Dwelling
By Times Special Correspondent.
Las Cruces, N. M., Feb. 11. – G. W. Bledsoe, while prospecting among the mountains of Grant county, recently found in a cave a portion of a mummified human remains, probably that of a cliff dweller. The skeleton, from which the legs are missing, was that of a man who stodd about four and one half feet. The frontal bone of the skull is remarkably low.
With the remains were found a small piece of goat skin and a piece of very coarse cotton cloth, evidently of hand manufacture.Subject
