Description
Aunt Jemima and Lions Club Members at KFEQ TV Station, 1960. From Lions Club Scrapbook. Digital Image of Aunt Jemima in studio of KFEQ TV station. She is seated about a table with members of St. Joseph Lions Club. KFEQ's TV camera, microphone, and studio lights are visible in the foreground.
The St. Joseph Lions Club hosted a two-day pancake festival at Hotel Robidoux in March, 1960. It is thought this is a photo from that festival. (A similar event occurred in March, 1938 when Aunt Jemima greeted passengers at Union Station).
Some members of the Lions Club pictured are identified along the bottom...
They are:
Cooper, E.C.
Downs, John, later a Missouri State Senator
Fulkerson, Lyman
