This is a charming record by Mrs. Moss of her child's progress. There are also notes by Catherine herself. Included in the book are photographs of Catherine and her parents, J.B. Moss and Mary Leach, their home on Sylvanie St., the young family when Catherine was 14 years, and Robidoux School which Catherine attended. Including class pictures. There are such things as a record of cute sayings, progressive autographs and photographs, accounts of parties with social clippings from the paper, early drawings by Catherine, and a recounting of a gradsschool play in which she mentions her school fellow, Walter Cronkite, father of the faous newscaster. There is also a lock of Catherine's hair. Mentioned on the "birth certificate" are the names of her grandparents: Preston Talbot Moss, Susan Henry Moss, presumably Preston's wife and J.B. Moss's mother and also a Susan Moss Fleming (possibly a sister?). The other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. MacFarland. There is a mention later on that Catherine Carbry was named after J.B. Moss's close friend, J.? Carbry, lived with the Moss's at their home on Sylvanie St. She can be seen in profile in a faily portrait on the roof garden of the home.Context
