Bates, William H. Sale Of Real Estate Probate Court . Advertisment : The estate of William H. Bates will be on the first Monday in November, 1854.
The sale will be in front of the court house between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to the highest bidder, the following described land, or so much thereof as will pay the debts of said estate. The west half of the northeast fractional quarter of section 32 in township 58 in range 34. Also a part of the east half of the northwest quarter of section 32 in township 58 in range commencing 40 poles north of the southeast corner of said last mentioned quarter and run 80 poles west thence north to the section line thence 80 poles to the northeast corner of said quarter section 29 in township 58 in range 34 .The said land is about one mile from Corby's Mill.
There is on the farm some valuable timber and good cultivating land. Terms--one half of the purchase money to be paid in cash, the balance in 9 months, the purchaser giving bond with approved security. Dated October 1854. Washington C. Bates, Administrator.
