News Photos include:
--Bill Bennett, Gazette photographer, uses a monoped with his long telephoto and a pistol grip on the shorter lens shown hanging by his side. The monopod offers the stability of a tripod and the mobility of a gunstock.
-- Don Reynolds St. Joseph Museum looking over his gunstock mount for his camera and telephoto lens as he prepares for a day of wildlife photography. A gunstock mount is extremely portable and stable.
--Window mount on a car combines stability, comfort and a portable blind all at the same time. Ival Lawhon Jr., News-Press photographer, uses the window mount with a long telephoto lens.
-- Cold-weather blind designed by Don Reynolds is constructed of wood and plastic covered with burlap. A. Doors, E, open on three sides of the blind to expose light-weight burlap, B, that can be seen through. A 1½ inch elastic band, C, is sewn in the middle of the burlap so a camera lens can protrude. The blind is held together with screen door hooks, D. The blind is portable and will give excellent results.Lexicon
