Notes
"Jimmie Rhodd is my grandpa, he became chief and was officially recognized by the tribal council at the time. He was seen as a cultural leader among the community, became a cultural liaison for the tribe and did many educational displays of our people to anyone who asked. He was involved in NAGPRA, archaeological dig sites, and worked with different museums and historical societies that needed his input on various things. He was feature in several magazines, did a cultural exchange program with the BBC and met Queen Elizabeth II. He passed away in 1997." - Ruby Rhodd through Facebook comment on Wyeth-Tootle Mansion Facebook page, 8/9/2026
