Framed letter and envelope. Bonnie Heady letter to Mr. Allen. The letter reads:
"Dear Mr. Allen,
"Please excuse this paper and pencil as that is all available.
"How are all of your dogs by now? I sure miss the dog shows. I had to sell my little bitch as you probably know and I am trying to find a good home for "Doc" to finish his old age in. If you know of anyone who would really take care of him let me know. They would have to have a fenced yard as he is a meanie. I would want to be sure the people really cared for dogs. You understand because I really was attached to him. Do you still go to the kennel club?
"Would you send me one of your monument catalogues as I have a feeling we will be needing one in the near future.
"Please don't feel too bitter towards me, as most people do. You knew me when I was different. I just let my domestic trouble & whiskey throw me but of course that isn't any excuse.
"You can write me % Mr. Tatman, U.S. Marshall, Fed. Bldg. K.C. Mo.
Best wishes,
Bonnie"Lexicon
