Boyer, Marion Lehr & Benjamin Franklin Portrait Photos (5), 1920s-1965. b/w. Five photos of either Marion Lehr Boyer or her husband, a military officer, Benjamin F. Boyer, taken at various times as listed below.
Marion is part of the Lehr Construction Family, her brother being J.W. Lehr, and aunt of donor.
Benjamin F. Boyer, born & raised in St. Joseph, graduated from Missouri University Law School in 1928. He served in military reserves and active duty during World War II, eventual rank of Colonel. He taught law at University of Missouri, Kansas City and was later Dean of the Law School. He also served as Dean of Temple University Law School in Philadelphia. The Boyers lived in Kansas City and had one daughter, Judith, who died as young woman in 1945.
