Brage, C. O.: Military Appointment as Captain/Quartermaster, 4th Infantry, Missouri National Guard, July 12, 1911.
"Know Ye, that I, Herbert S. Hadley, Governor of the State of Missouri and Commander in Chief of the Forces thereof, reposing special trust and confidence in the integrity, patriotism and valor of Carl O. Brage on behalf and in the name of the State do hereby appoint and commission him Captain and Quartermaster, Fourth Infantry, National Guard of Missouri, to rank from the 12th of July 1911 and do authorize and empower him to discharge the duties of said office according to law.
