Broas Brothers 1863, Coin/Token

The image shows a vintage coin, likely an Indian Head penny from the United States, lying on a dark surface. The coin features a profile of a Native American wearing a feathered headdress, surrounded by inscriptions. Notably, the date at the bottom appears to be 1863. The words "ONE CENT" are barely visible around the top edge, consistent with the design of Indian Head pennies minted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The coin displays signs of age, with some tarnishing and wear, which gives it a distinct patina and adds to its historical appeal. There are black marks or ink scribbles on the coin, which seem accidental or added at a later time, possibly detracting from its value for collectors. The intricate detailing on the headdress and the facial expression are expertly crafted, showcasing the artistic skills of the period. Such coins are cherished by collectors for their historical significance, aesthetic quality, and the craftsmanship they represent.
