Object/Artifact

St. Joseph Museums

The image features a small, charming ceramic figurine of a cartoonish animal, resembling a mouse or a similar creature, with large, expressive ears, a friendly face, and wide eyes, sitting on its haunches. It holds a pink object against its body, possibly mimicking a food item or a playful accessory, while a delicate string is tied around its neck. The surface of the figurine is smooth, with a rich brown color and subtle shading that highlights its contours, giving it a vintage or retro appearance. Attached to the side of the figurine is a golden label with cursive writing, possibly indicating the manufacturer or artist, marked as "Josef Originals." The background has a soft, textured surface, likely made of white or off-white material, providing a neutral backdrop that accentuates the figurine's details and colors.
