Brown Porcelain Mouse from Rev. Ross McClellan

Object/Artifact

St. Joseph Museums

The image features a small porcelain or ceramic figurine of a mouse that appears to be an ornament or decorative item, with a glossy finish reflecting light spots on its surface. The mouse figurine has a lifelike pose, with its eyes painted in a way that gives it a cute, animated expression. Its body is wrapped with a thin, white string, perhaps indicating that it is meant to be hung as an ornament or part of a display. The figurine rests on a textured, possibly styrofoam surface, which serves as the backdrop, providing a neutral, textured appearance that contrasts with the smoothness of the mouse, helping it stand out in the composition.
