Buchanan County Poor Farm, Green Acres, Photo, 1919. b/w. Photo of original construction completion of the residential facility by the County to house citizens who were not able to care for themselves. Two-story brick structure covering large area, with pillared porches. Distance view with broad lawn in front. Residents are pictured on two sides of the building.
By 2018, the County had converted the farm to a retail strip mall and sold the building to a developer who remodeled it into offices and meeting venue.
