Description

Buffalo Hunter is an account of Frank Mayer's six or seven years on the hunting buffalo what is now the states of Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, Colorado, and Wyoming in the 1870's. It is the story as told by Mayer in his elder years to Charles Roth. Mayer died at age 104 in 1954. Includes photographs of weapons used and listing of the profits made by Mayer during these years. 96/Softbound/Illustration/Photographs
