Caption: Striking Out Cancer: Betty Bullock watched her ball go down the lane Sunday at Olympia Lanes during the Super Bowl to raise money for the Andrew-Buchanan unit of the American Cancer Society. Almost 300 people bowled, raising an estimated $20,000 in pledges, surpassing the goal of $15,000 that was originally set. Participants bowled free, competing for prizes that were donated by local businesses and individuals, with the grand prize of a trip for two to Las Vegas. Winners will be announced Feb. 29 when all of the pledges will be in.
