(St. Joseph News-Press reports on the offer of this donation and acceptance by the City Council in April & May of 1907. The installation must have been subsequent to May 21, 1907).
A = Photo of round, stone fountain being erected in the intersection outside of Patee Hall. A derrick is perched above the fountain, and workmen & spectators are standing by. Geiwitz Grocery is in the background on NW corner of intersection. The street is dirt. Stores on northeast side of intersection in background.
