Cassel, Elizabeth Jane Boone: Portrait Photo & Obituary, c. 1954. Elizabeth Jane Boone was the eldest child of ten. Her father, Fleming H. Boone was a pioneer settler in Andrew County, perhaps descended from Squire Boone, Daniel's brother. The museum has in its collection items belonging to or made by Elizabeth, and genealogy records of her family.
Elizabeth was raised in Andrew County, taught school before marriage. She died in 1954 at age 95.
