Chasing Lewis and Clark Across America is a photo journal by aviator Ron Lowery and his assistant Mary Walker. They traveled in a twin-engine kit plane that was designed to fly slow and into canyons. The perspective of seeing the trail from above is different than usually seen. There are also some ground level photos of the natural history of the trail. Very beautiful photos. However, there are no photos between Kansas City and Council Bluffs. Ron Lowery gave a program for the St. Joseph Museum in June of 2004.
