Civil War Letter: Parker, Benjamin about Calvary Cutting Off Reb Supplies to his Sister, 1864. Shenandoah Valley Virginia. The express boxes arrived from Harpers Ferry. The Cavalry has cut off the rebels supplies. They are to march tonight or tomorrow morning. They are always on the line of battle every morning from 3 a.m. to sunrise. Dated September 18, 1864.
