Clarke, Joseph & Martha: Family Records. Martha (Conrad) Clarke was the daughter of Thomas & Mary Ivory Conrad.

B = Biography of Martha (Conrad) Clarke. Typewritten. Lists her three children, one of which deceased as infant. Her husband died, leaving her a widow at age 24. She never remarried. She lived with her daughters in Thomas Conrad home at 903 Robidoux until her death in 1949. She lived in Europe at times and educated her daughters there. She is buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
C = Obituary of Joseph Clarke. Three newspaper accounts of his passing, recounting his business pursuits in Craig, MO. He died at age 27, after a two year illness, leaving his widow and two daughters. Copy of Resolution by St. Joseph College Alumni association tendering sympathies to his family.
D = Obituary of Martha Clarke with snapshot. "Mrs. Clarke, the Convent's Oldest Alumna, Dies at age 91. Recounting her association with the Convent School and alumni association. Her accomplishment of establishing, in 1893, a Sunday School for children of Cathedral parish and continued for 8 years until the parish school was established.
