Cliff, Charles, Pony Express Rider, Notes written by his daughter, Agnes, of His Experiences as Rider, 1894
"Original notes told by Charles Cliff to his daughter, Agnes Cliff, about 1894 and written at that time. Several statements made by my father in regard to location of original stable as being located across the street from his home would indicated that the stables were uptown, location of residence and business is shown in early day directory. This statement made October 31, 1943 and is being placed in files in the Public Library as a matter of historic record." Signed by Children of C. H. Cliff. Agnes Cliff, Mrs. C. R. Renner, Warren J. Cliff.
