Coming and Going of the Pony Express Art Print by Frederic Remington, c. 1900. Depiction of Pony Rider starting off from a home station, The buck-skinned rider sits atop the mochilla. His horse is making a bucking start. as though the cowboy in front has slapped him. The former Pony Rider is holding onto the reins of his exhausted horse, Three other men, including a black man look on. The station behind is built of rough logs. Scene is of a desert area. Undated but Frederic Remington lived 1861-1909. This print copyrighted in 1898.
