Charles deposited in this office $450.00 of "Old Issue" Treasury Notes to be exchanged, on his order for Two-thirds of that sum in "New Issue" Notes under the Act of Congress February 17, 1864 when this office shall be supplied with funds for the purpose, and on surrender of this Certificate. The value is $300. Dated December 29, 1864 Washington Arkansas.
