Description

Crazy Horse the Strange Man of the Oglalas is a biography of Crazy Horse the Indian Chief who led his tribe in the battle of the Little Big Horn. In this winning battle, they wiped out "Long Hair" Custer and a third of the U.S. Seventh Cavalry. Crazy Horse was the real leader in that fight. He remains -always- a noble figure, a man of deep religious conviction, a mysterious prophet. This story is written as one of his fellow tribesman might have told it. Miss Sandoz has written a narrative of excitement and action, of battles and hunts and camp moving. 428/Hardbound/Map.
