Dancin' at the Frog Hop. The Frog Hop Ballroom contributed to a portion of history during the era of the great dance bands. The ballroom was located on the Belt Highway in St. Joseph. The first Frog Hop opened on December 31, 1928. It and a second one burned. The third one closed in 1978.
