The Dari-Ette was owned by PeeWee and Francis Pollard.
After the Dari-ette closed, Connie Goodnight built a tavern at this location.
Connie also owned the Fireside Inn further south on the Belt Highway.
Unfortunately, Connie passed away but a tavern is still operating.
