Divine Healing is a photocopy of the original book which was received through interlibrary loan from the Morton Library in Richmond, Virginia. Book written by S.A. Richmond who lived in St. Joseph during the later part of the 1800s. He operated the Richmond Nervine Company which for a time was in the Patee House building. Richmond shot the editor of the St. Joseph newspaper and was sent to the State Lunatic Asylum. Later moved to California where he wrote this book. Book tells about the healings in the Bible and Richmond believes that medical treatment is not necessary for healing. Page 158: Send me $25.00 - $10.00 to pay for one month's treatment and $5.00 to pay for the book. In treating the sick, I follow the rules and methods of treatment adopted by Jesus and Saint Paul. In giving absent treatment, I bless handkerchiefs and send them to my patients, together with my other treatments."
