Description

Dark leather physicians emergency bag or purse with a double handle and a faux-gold tag and paper tag housed in a cardboard box. Gold tag bears the message: “Since 1832, Oak tanned, top grain, leather by Byron. This article is covered with genuine top grain leather. Choice grade steerhide frequently will show healed scratches, as well as natural fat wrinkles. These do not affect serviceability- they are expected by connoisseurs of fine leather. Proper care: wipe when necessary with a clean cloth slightly dampened in mild soap suds. Then use a natural wax. - W.D. Byron & Sons, Inc., Williamsport, Maryland.” Paper tag bears the message: “Byron Leather treated with Titekote to resist scuffing, wear better, and look richer. This is leather tanned by W.D. Byron & Sons, Inc. using the scuff-resistant Titekote trade mark process.” Leather is too hardened for bag to open.
