Scope and Content

A four page roster on lined paper of DEMOCRATIC STATE EMPLOYEES' CLUB of MISSOURI. Some pages are typed, others are handwritten in pencil. The roster includes the Name, Street Address and City. The last page is the members' name only with the amount of their contribution. The pages are stapled together with a blue outer page that is folded to make an enclosed document.

Context

(This is at the top of every page except the last) We, the undersigned, Democratic employees of the State Government of Missouri, herewith enroll as members of the Democratic State Employees' Club of Missouri, the primary purpose of which shall be the promotion and advancement of the interests and welfare of the Democratic Party. We pledge ourselves to labor faithfully and capably at our respective state positions, so that Democratic government may ever be good government and the credit therefore redound to the Democratic Party.
