Several documents related to cultural resource surveys in Miami and Johnson County.
1. Communication between Jim Feagins and Stan Hollrah about a cultural resource survey of the proposed wastewater improvement area, during which five archaeological sites were discovered. In this communication, the sites had not been giving SHPO official site numbers yet and referred to as JDF-5-11-91-5, JDF-5-11-91-4, JDF-5-11-91-1, JDF-5-11-91-2, JDF-5-11-91-3. It is recommended that sites -1, -2, -3 be avoided if possible. Site -4 should not be impacted as it is outside the scope of the proposed construction. -5 has minimal need for further investigation.
