An empty Air Mail envelope. Addressed to Viola Gockong, St. Joseph, Mo. U. S. A. but there is no return address

Context

Some of the postmark stamp is in French and parts are illegible but reads something like '????? ie Moyen-Age - PONTORSON 9km avant ie Mont St Michel - PONTORSON 04.??. 02. The stamp itself is orange WITH A RED GLOBE IN THE MIDDLE and reads 'PORT PAYE FRANCE INTERNATIONAL' (on the backside in orange ink reads:) "Validite monde entier au depart de la France metropolitaine" "Valid throughout the world from France" "Validez: todo el mundo para los envios con origen en Francia" "Envelope prevue pour un envoi jusqu'a 20 grammes 0202082"
