Scope and Content

A plain envelope, postmarked Jul 15 2002, Kansas City that contains a 2003 American Legion Membership Card for Post 0359, St. Joseph, MO.

Context

A. The card is for the year 2003 made out to John M White. It is stamped EARLY BIRD. The backside contains the "Preamble to the Constitution of The American Legion" and on the side a list of the Eligibility Dates. B. The envelope has a 37¢ stamp printed with red, white, and blue streamers. A sticker with the return address of the post is on the back top-center and contains the American Legion emblem. The envelope is made with 100% Recycled Paper
