An empty standard sized Air Mail envelope.

Context

There is no 'to; or 'from addresses. It is postmarked CHANTILLY V. A. NOV 17 1962. It was sent from Joe Optican Jewelry Co., St. Joseph, Mo. The embossed red 8¢ Air Mail stamp has an image of an airplane in the center. Beneath it reads FIRST DAY OF ISSUE. On the left side is FIRST DAY OF ISSUE above a picture of the North View of Capitol Dome and an airplane above 8¢ Air Mail, STAMPED ENVELOPE SERIES OF 1962
