A postcard inside an envelope.

Context

A. (Postcard to Delbert C. Reason, Shirley, Indiana from Miss Wilma Hurst, St. Joseph, Missouri, postmarked Aug 20 1968 with a green embedded 5¢ stamp showing a picture of Abraham Lincoln) Dear Sir: I sent for 4 of the autographed covers for the dedication of the new post office building at Shirley, Indiana and have not received them. These were to be available in late May or early June. (attached is a return address sticker containing Miss Wilma Hurst's return address) (hand written below that is:) Happy to announce Date now set for Sept. 22. D C Reason B. The postcard is inside the envelope addressed to Miss Wilma Hurst, St. Joseph Missouri. It is postmarked Sep 3 1968 from Shirley, In. and has an embedded green 6¢ stamp with Lady Liberty. There is no return address. In the lower left hand corner is a stamped emblem of a triangle inside a circle 'Member' on the top of the circle - 'Auxiliary Police - Shirley, Ind.' on the sides of the triangle, and 'CD' in the middle.
