Context

The top of the page reads DANISH WEST INDIES. Stamped Envelopes. The envelopes are standard sized. There is no 'to' or 'from' information, nor a postmark on either one. The top envelope contains an embossed, round, blue 2 cents stamp with the marking 'DANSK - VESTINDISKE OER'. The bottom envelope contains an embossed, orange, round 3 cents stamp with the same marking.
