Express Stable History Confirmed by Newspaper, St. Joseph Gazette News Article, March 15, 1950. News story about the original Pony Express Stables.
An ink drawing of the Pony Express stables appeared in the St. Joseph Herald January 27, 1889. The drawing was made from a photograph taken in 1858. The building was rebuilt in 1886, using much of the original material.
This picture was presented to Bartlett Boder historical society president by Mrs. Harriet Owen Strop.
