Description

Ezra Meeker; Champion of the Oregon Trail relates the efforts of Ezra Meeker to perserve the Old Oregon Trail in 1906. Meeker had first set out on it in 1852, and he was now 76 years old. He went to Washington and met the President, collecting donations to pay for and plant granite trail monuments as he went.
