An empty envelope to capture the 'First Day Of Issue' of the United Nations ICAO 8¢ stamp. It is addressed to Mr. Elmo Nash, St Joseph, Mo and postmarked United Nations New York Feb 9 1955. The left side of the envelope has a small picture of a large group of people sitting at a round table. It reads ' First Day Of Issue - The Council of ICAO - Honoring ICAO - The International Civil Aviation Organization.' The envelope is empty. The inside front has a permanent gold liner.
